Interfaces worth reading
What building Atlas Docs taught me about typography, accessibility and fast search in the browser.

A documentation page is an interface for not being distracted. Most of the frontend work is about taking things away.
At Atlas Docs we removed every sidebar widget, set the type at a comfortable 18px, and made search the first thing a reader sees.
Search results appear in under 50ms, everything works with a keyboard, and readers stay twice as long as they did before.
